Renee Miklosik '04/M'08 in honor of Megan Miklosik '17
Megan was a 2017 graduate of North Central College, where she studied Chemistry and later became the Lab Supervisor for Fox Metro Water Reclamation District. Born and raised in Aurora, Illinois, and most recently of Milwaukee, Megan was a bright, beautiful, witty, and wonderful woman who was loved by so many and appreciated for her kindness, sense of humor, strong care and concern for people, animals, and the environment, and her courage to try new things while living a full life.
Megan enjoyed live music, coffee, candy, and kettle chips; sports; SVU marathons; and time with her close circle of friends and family. She loved the outdoors and spent many hours hiking, camping, and fishing. Megan died unexpectedly but peacefully in 2026 at age 37.
The Megan Miklosik ’17 Memorial Scholarship was established by Megan’s sister, Renee ’04/M’08, to honor Megan and help other students pursuing degrees in Chemistry receive the same quality education and exceptional experience Megan had as a Cardinal.
