North Central College's FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Robotics Competition AWARD

For years, North Central College has enthusiastically supported S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and continues in this tradition by offering, beginning FALL 2019 semester, the FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Robotics Competition AWARD.

The FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Robotics Competition AWARD was established to recognize new, incoming undergraduate students, who …

  • Have participated on a FIRST competing team during the student’s junior or senior year of high school;
  • Enroll as a full-time undergraduate student at North Central College; and
  • Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).

North Central College’s FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Robotics Competition AWARD is for $2,500/yr and is renewable, provided the student continues to meet North Central College’s satisfactory academic progress requirements.
