Dane T. Scag Science & Engineering Scholarship
The purpose of the Dane T. Scag Science & Engineering Scholarship is to provide financial assistance for students who are majoring in science and/or engineering and who meet the criteria of the scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Current, Full-time North Central College Students
- Applicants must be majoring in Science and/or Engineering
- Recipients must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25
- Financial Need may be considered, but is not part of the criteria.
- Essay must be submitted (see details below)
ESSAY Requirements:
For consideration, candidates must write an essay (1-2 pages; double-spaced) including all of the following information:
- Why they enjoy science
- Provide a brief discussion of hobbies
- Include any unusual achievement or experience
- Discuss hopes for postgraduate education and/or research
Health Science majors do not meet the eligibility criteria intended by the donor.
This scholarship is not automatically renewable.
