John Miller Cowlishaw Memorial Scholarship for Music

The John Miller Cowlishaw Memorial Scholarship for Music is designed to offer financial aid to a first-year student, sophomore, junior or senior with a major or minor in music, music education or musical theatre.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • May be a new incoming First-Year Student; new incoming Transfer Student; or a current Continuing Student at North Central College
  • Must be a full-time student
  • Must be pursuing a major or minor in music, music education or musical theatre
  • Must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Must have financial need
  • Must submit a letter of recommendation from a faculty member in the music/musical theatre department, or in the case of an incoming first-year student, submit a letter from a high school music teacher

This scholarship is not automatically renewable.
