Hank Skoglund Scholarship for the Humanities
The Hank Skoglund Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Hank Skoglund, Professor of Philosophy at North Central College from 1966 to 1982, by supporting the study of the Humanities through an annual scholarship. This award is granted to an undergraduate student majoring in the Humanities who exhibits distinguished academic performance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Current, full-time North Central students
- Sophomore, junior, or senior status as of the upcoming fall semester
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
- Applicants must major in Philosophy, Religious Studies, History, Literature, Humanities, and/or minor in History of Ideas
- An essay is required
This scholarship is not automatically renewable.
