Martin Lang '59

Martin Lang graduated from North Central College in 1959 and went on to receive a Master’s degree from the University of Kansas and a PhD from the University of Texas in Mathematics Education. He enjoyed teaching mathematics at the university level for over 35 years. Martin Lang was one of six children born and raised in Japan by German missionary parents and was extremely grateful to receive a generous 4 year scholarship from NCC. He would like the Martin Lang Scholarship to provide financial assistance to students interested in a career of teaching mathematics at any level.
