United Methodist Grant Fund of the Northern Illinois Conference

Since 1949, the United Methodist Foundation in Northern Illinois is committed to excellence by enhancing the stewardship ministry of local churches and church-related agencies. The United Methodist Foundation in Northern Illinois encourages lifelong generosity among United Methodists in the region by offering an exemplary investment program for local church funds with several options to meet the investment goals of the church or church-related agency. They also assist donors who wish to make charitable gifts; provide consultation and seminars on financial stewardship; endowment funds and planned giving; and sponsor a grants program to encourage creative ministries throughout Northern Illinois.

United Methodist Grant Fund of the Northern Illinois Conference is a need-based grant program for United Methodist students attending North Central College. This need-based grant fund provides financial assistance to those students who are members of a United Methodist Church of the Northern Illinois Conference. The scholarship is renewable for subsequent years, provided the student continues to demonstrate financial need and to meet the other criteria of the scholarship.
