Naperville Chorus Scholarship

The purpose of Naperville Chorus Scholarship is to assist a music major willing to learn and participate in a major choral work with the Naperville Chorus within the same year the Naperville Chorus Scholarship is received. The Naperville Chorus usually preforms in December and May of an academic year. The Naperville Chorus will award recipients for both concerts through this one application. Up to two recipients may be selected for each performance.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be majoring in music;
  • Applicants must be a continuing student at North Central and have Sophomore, Junior, or Senior academic status as of the Fall 2019 Semester*
  • Applicants must possess a minimum grade point average of 3.0; and
  • Applicants must have financial need;
  • Applicants must be willing to learn and participate in a major choral work with the Naperville Chorus within the same year the scholarship is received.

If selected and contingent upon receipt of the scholarship funds, the recipient(s) must learn and participate in a major choral work with the Naperville Chorus within the same year the Naperville Chorus Scholarship is received.

  4. The Naperville Chorus usually performs twice during the academic year - December and May. The Naperville Chorus will select recipients for both performances from this one application. Please select for which performance you wish to be considered.
  5. If you are selected as a recipient of this scholarship, will you be FULL-TIME (12-18 credit hours per semester) for the 2019-20 academic year?
