Environmental Studies Annual Scholarship

Dr. Rogene Buchholz ‘59 established the Environmental Studies Annual Scholarship to provide financial assistance to one full-time, undergraduate student who meets the following criteria:

First Preference is for the applicant to be an Environmental Studies Major within the sustainable business track.
If no student from the sustainable business track applies or is otherwise eligible for the scholarship, then any Environmental Studies Major who meets the scholarship criteria may be considered.

  • Recipient must be in good academic standing
  • A minimum 3.0 cumulative Grade Point Average is required
  • An essay is required. The requested essay should describe the reasons why the applicant decided to pursue environmental studies and the applicant’s reasons for pursuing the specific track. The essay may be no longer than two (2) typed double-spaced pages.

This scholarship is not automatically renewable.
