Jeordano Martinez Naperville Chorus Scholarship

The Jeordano (Pete) Martinez Scholarship was established by the Naperville Chorus to assist a North Central College student willing to learn and participate in a major choral work with the Naperville Chorus within the same year the scholarship is received. The Naperville Chorus usually performs in December and April of an academic year. The Naperville Chorus will award recipients for both concerts through this one application. Up to two recipients may be selected for each performance.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants are not required to be music majors
• Applicants must be a current, full-time student with sophomore, junior, or senior academic status as of the upcoming fall semester
• Applicants must be in good academic standing
• Applicants must be willing to learn and participate in a major choral work with the Naperville Chorus during the same year the scholarship is received

Important notes:

• Recipients will be selected upon an interview with the Naperville Chorus Scholarship chair and a member of the North Central College Institutional Advancement staff
• If selected and contingent upon receipt of the scholarship funds, the recipient must learn and participate in a major choral work with the Naperville Chorus within the same year the scholarship is received.
• This scholarship is not automatically renewable.
