Rev. Dr. Howard Mueller '58 Alumni Board Student Involvement Scholarship

The Rev. Dr. Howard Mueller ’58 Alumni Board Student Involvement Scholarship is funded by the North Central College Alumni Association and provides scholarship assistance to a student who exhibits leadership abilities through involvement within the campus community.

The Alumni Board is a governing body of the North Central College Alumni Association. The purpose of the North Central College Alumni Association is to enable and promote the continuing success of North Central College and to provide leadership to a variety of programs that build and encourage strong relationships among the alumni, students, faculty and staff of North Central College.

Eligibility
The Rev. Dr. Howard Mueller ’58 Alumni Board Student Involvement Scholarship is open to:

  • Students who are currently attending North Central College,
  • Students who will be enrolled full-time
  • Students who will have junior or senior status as of the upcoming fall semester
  • Students who have a cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • An essay is required

This scholarship is not automatically renewable.

If selected, contingent upon receiving this full award you will be required to attend a minimum of two of the four Alumni Board meetings per year as a Student Ambassador to the Alumni Board.

The purpose of the North Central College Alumni Association is to enable and promote the continuing success of North Central College and to provide leadership to a variety of programs that build and encourage strong relationships among the alumni, students, faculty and staff of North Central College. Please provide a written statement in approximately 500 words outlining how your personal experiences will serve you well as a student ambassador for the Alumni Board. This could include why you chose to attend North Central College; plans after graduation; involvement within the campus community, including clubs and/or organizations in which you are a member; leadership opportunities you may have had; or, a life experience that sets you apart from your peers. Please note, this should be different than your Personal Statement submitted in the General Application and specific to the Alumni Board.
