TheDream.US National Scholarship
We think of our National Scholarship as the “Pell Grant” for highly motivated undocumented students with significant, unmet financial need. The National Scholarship Award will cover your tuition and fees at one of our Partner Colleges up to a maximum of $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree.
Scholars may receive an additional stipend for books, supplies, and transportation for up to $6,000. While we consider your GPA, we place great emphasis on your dedication to community service and your commitment to academic and career success despite the barriers and challenges that undocumented students face daily.
The award follows students through the completion of a bachelor’s degree and is renewable each year. Recipients must meet the continuing eligibility criteria and renew the award each summer.
North Central College is a Partner College of TheDream.US program and is committed to serving undocumented students and prepared to offer you the support services you need to help you successfully navigate your college life. As a Partner College, North Central designates a Scholar Advisor to work with you and your fellow Scholars – individually and as a group. You will not be alone!
Important Dates: TheDream.US National Scholarship application typically opens in November and closes in February.
