Scholarship Details:

  • The Community College Honors Scholarship amount is full tuition and standard fees only. The student will be responsible for the difference of any tuition increases for future academic years.
  • The recipient must maintain a 2.00 cumulative grade point average, maintain Satisfactory Academic Program, and be full-time (12 credits or more per semester) to renew the scholarship. The scholarship is renewable for three years (awarded for six semesters total).
  • If the recipient is eligible for the Federal Pell Grant or Illinois MAP Grant, the Community College Honors Scholarship will be reduced by the amount of both awards received.
  • This is the only scholarship a student may earn from North Central College. There will not be the opportunity to receive other merit or talent-based scholarships, such as the Transfer Excellence Scholarship, Alumni Award, or Fine Arts Awards.
  • External scholarships from a community, business, or other outside organization (ex: a Coca-Cola scholarship) will not reduce the amount of the scholarship unless specified for tuition only.
  • The Community College Honors Scholarship may not cover all costs associated with international study if the cost exceeds tuition at North Central College during that academic period.
  • The scholarship awardee must let both College of DuPage and North Central College know that they are accepting the award by May 1st.
