David Klussendorf Scholarship
The David Klussendorf Scholarship Fund was established to provide scholarship assistance for students pursuing the course of study preparing them to be teachers, school sports coaches, athletic trainers, or recreation managers.
Three scholarships will be awarded annually to one sophomore, one junior, and one senior recipient. Since the scholarship is renewable, this application is open to eligible candidates who are rising sophomores and meet the following criteria:
- Current, full time undergraduate students
- Rising sophomore status
- Students in good academic standing
- First consideration will be given to students exhibiting financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid
- Second consideration will be given to students enrolled in the program for teaching elementary or secondary education (with an emphasis on science or mathematics)
- Third consideration will be given to students majoring in exercise science, sport management, pre-physical therapy, pre-occupational therapy, athletic training or health-related majors
The scholarship may be renewed for subsequent years provided the student continues to meet the eligibility criteria and is enrolled in a viable course sequence leading to the completion of the student’s course of study.
