Harold Emery Meiley Scholarship
The Harold Emery Meiley Scholarship was established by Judy G. Stevenson – who was in her lifetime a prominent business leader, entrepreneur, and life trustee of North Central College – to honor her late father, Harold Emery Meiley.
Eligibility Criteria
This scholarship is designed to award one full-time North Central student:
- Who must have financial need
- Who must be a new, incoming First-Year student (Freshman) in the upcoming fall semester
- Who must have a minimum ACT composite score of 23 (1050-1080 SAT)
- Who must be a resident of Naperville or DuPage County
- An essay is required
- While preference will be given to students with a career objective in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Pre-Med or Pre-Law, students majoring in other areas are encouraged to apply.
If selected, the Meiley Scholarship may be renewed up to an additional three years of undergraduate studies as long as a cumulative 3.0 GPA (based on a 4.0 system) is maintained.
