David R. and JoAnn Stuart Scholarship for First Generation Students
The David R. and JoAnn Stuart Scholarship for First Generation Students has been established to provide financial assistance to a full-time, first generation college student, who will be an incoming, first year student during the upcoming fall semester. The selected recipient will receive a scholarship award to be used for tuition, housing and food, and books. This scholarship is renewable for three additional years if eligibility criteria continues to be met.
Eligibility criteria is as follows:
- Must be a first generation college student
- Must be an incoming first year student starting in the upcoming fall semester
- Must be a full-time student
- Must be in good academic standing with North Central College
- Must participate in the Cardinal First Program
- Must have financial need
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid available at www.studentaid.gov), if eligible
Recipients are requested to attend a meet and greet lunch with the donors.
