George and Minnie Reamer Scholarship
The George and Minnie Reamer Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to applicants who will have junior or senior status during the upcoming academic year and who fulfill the following considerations:
- First consideration is to a young person of the Hope United Methodist Church of Flint, Michigan.
- Second consideration is to any young person preparing for full-time Christian service from the Michigan Annual Conference.
- Third consideration is to any young person of the United Methodist Church preparing for full-time Christian service.
Additional eligibility criteria:
- Incoming transfer or continuing undergraduate student with junior or senior level credits
- Full-time student
- Good academic standing with the College
- Cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
- Member in the United Methodist Church
- Preference to young men preparing for Christian ministry
This scholarship requires membership in the United Methodist Church as well as certification from the applicant’s pastor.
The scholarship is not automatically renewable, but recipients may apply again each year they continue to pursue an undergraduate degree.
