Lowell and Elizabeth Cory Messerschmidt Scholarship Fund
The Lowell and Elizabeth Cory Messerschmidt Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial assistance to international students at North Central College who meet the following criteria:
- First consideration shall be given to children of Christian missionaries serving outside the USA and to students who are citizens of foreign countries. This is not to exclude aid to students who live in and are residents of the United States.
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Incoming first-year, transfer, or continuing undergraduate student
- Must not be a resident of the State of Illinois
- Financial need will be considered
- Full-time student
- Good academic standing with the College
- Cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
Membership in the United Methodist Church is not a requirement for this scholarship.
The scholarship is not automatically renewable, but recipients are encouraged to apply again each year they continue to pursue an undergraduate degree.
