Lawrence Stauss Scholarship
The Lawrence Stauss Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance a North Central College student who meets the following considerations:
- First consideration to a student from the East Side United Methodist Church (110th and Ewing Street, Chicago, IL) preparing for full-time Christian service
- Second consideration to a student from the East Side United Methodist Church
- Third consideration to a student preparing for full-time Christian service
Eligible applicants must also meet the criteria listed below:
- Incoming first-year, transfer, or continuing undergraduate student
- Full-time student
- Good academic standing with the College
- Cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
Membership in the United Methodist Church is not a requirement for this scholarship.
The scholarship is not automatically renewable, but recipients may apply again each year they continue to pursue an undergraduate degree.
