David Del Ciello Memorial Scholarship for Jazz Studies

The purpose of the David Del Ciello Memorial Scholarship for Jazz Studies is to award a student who demonstrates the passion, dedication and talent of a jazz musician.
The scholarship was established by family and friends of David Del Ciello ’00, a gifted musician and human being, as a lasting memorial to his passion for jazz music.

Criteria for Award:

• First consideration will be given to students majoring in jazz studies;
• Second consideration will be given to students majoring in instrumental music education, particularly the upright bass and jazz guitar;
• Third consideration will be given to music majors

Both incoming new students (first-year and transfer students) and returning students (continuing students at North Central College) are eligible to apply.

This scholarship is not automatically renewable, but recipients are invited to reapply each year.
