The Volpe Law LLC Future Litigators Scholarship
The Volpe Law LLC Future Litigators Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship meant to support a student working to value clients first in litigation situations. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate their experience in business, working within the community, and their academic excellence. We want someone who follows our same mission of doing the right thing, even if it isn’t always the easiest thing to do. Applicants should write a thoughtful essay to address these topics using the questions provided below. The winner will receive $1,000 to support their educational expenses such as course materials and more.
Eligibility Criteria
This scholarship is open to any student who is currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or professional program in the United States. This includes accredited community college students as well as high school seniors and students who possess a GED who have been accepted to or are enrolled in an accredited program.
- The scholarship applicant must demonstrate their commitment to businesses in their essay.
- All eligible candidates must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Essay Questions
Respond to the following questions in an essay of 1,000 words or less:
- Businesses often operate in gray areas of regulation and compliance. How would you ensure your litigation strategy aligns with both the law and your ethical responsibilities?
- What does “putting the client first” mean in the context of business litigation, and how might that approach impact long-term legal outcomes?
- How do you plan to use your legal training to resolve business conflicts in a way that serves justice, protects community interests, and upholds your personal values?
