Founded in 1897, the Naperville Woman’s Club is one of the longest-standing philanthropic organizations in Naperville. The club represents six generations of women whose goal was and is to enrich their community, form friendships, and engage in lifelong learning. The Naperville Woman’s Club has played a part in the development of many Naperville institutions, including Nichols Library , Naper School , and Edward Hospital . Nichole Hansen and her husband Adam Billman-Galuhn were students in the North Central College theatre department. They were both really involved, wonderful, creative, energized theatre students. Nichole was a costumer extraordinaire. Generously giving of her time even though her career goals did not ultimately lie in the theatre world. Nichole volunteered to work on everything. She also put in countless production hours, always helping out when needed. In 2013, Nichole was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer. Dr. Paul Schwab ’53 was a longtime Naperville psychiatrist and former professor of psychiatry at the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. Born in Waxahachie, Texas, Dr. Schwab spent most of his childhood in the San Antonio area, where both his parents were college professors. He received a bachelor’s degree from North Central College in 1953, and on the evening of his graduation married his wife of 51 years, Martha, who also was a North Central College student. In 1957, Dr. Schwab graduated with honors from Baylor Medical School in Texas. He then was an intern at

Megan was a 2017 graduate of North Central College, where she studied Chemistry and later became the Lab Supervisor for Fox Metro Water Reclamation District. Born and raised in Aurora, Illinois, and most recently of Milwaukee, Megan was a bright, beautiful, witty, and wonderful woman who was loved by so many and appreciated for her kindness, sense of humor, strong care and concern for people, animals, and the environment, and her courage to try new things while living a full life. The Alumni Board is a governing body of the Alumni Association of North Central College . The purpose of the Alumni Association is to enable and promote the continuing success of North Central College, and provide leadership to a variety of programs that build and encourage strong relations among the alumni, students, faculty and staff of North Central College. The Robert H. Good Scholarship was established in 1986 by his children, Grace Good Reed, Carlton Good and North Central College alumni, Palmer ’24 and Palmer’s wife, Elvina Oberhelman Good ’25. Born December 31, 1873, in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, Dr. Robert H. Good attended Northwestern College (now North Central College) from 1893 to 1897 and graduated from Rush Medical College in 1902. The purpose of this endowment is to encourage future generations of both, students and faculty, in the study and teaching of physics by providing for scholarships and equipment needs.

Robert Prussing Arnold ’39 was born in Waterman, Illinois, in 1916. While at North Central College, he majored in mathematics and physics, graduating in 1939. In 1942, Robert P. Arnold married Harriet A. Ringberg. He was also a Lieutenant in the United States Navy during WWII . Robert P. Arnold passed away in 1988, in Aurora, Illinois. Robert Prussing Arnold, a professional engineer, owned R. P. Arnold and Associates in Aurora, Illinois. As an engineer for special purpose machinery, he designed and built special purpose automatic machinery. In 1999, Harriet Ringberg Arnold designated funds

Rogene A. Buchholz is currently the Legendre-Soule Chair in Business Ethics Emeritus at Loyola University New Orleans. He held this endowed chair at Loyola for thirteen years until his retirement in 2002. Prior to this position he taught at the University of Texas at Dallas where he was also Associate Dean, Undergraduate Program Director, and Department Head; at Washington University in St. Louis where he had a half-time appointment to teach in the School of Business and the other half as Research Associate in the Center for the Study of American Business; and at the University of Minnesota.

More than fifty years ago, Roger Hruby ’58 believed so highly in the value of education that for two years he and his wife, Nadeane, slept on a couch in the living room of a converted chicken coop with their children in an adjoining room, in order for Roger to attend North Central College. Balancing a family and work is not easy, yet Roger held a full-time job while finishing his North Central College degree. Roger Hruby earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from North Central College in 1958 before he founded a specialty chemical company, CFC International, Inc., that produced
